Doing this now is a lot harder then last time, when we were just kids in our late 50's. Reg is doing 10 times more than I am. My job is mostly doing the sorting , packing , tossing, piling up stuff for another carport sale, all bathroom cabinets and linen closet are done, all Christmas stuff sorted and packed to be moved (some went to Good Will , etc, etc while Reg does the really hard work. I am also trying to get all the little repair jobs done at the Enrose House before the new tenant -Rob and Kids- move in ) Here is Reg on Sunday tearing out the rest of the master sink and redoing it's plumbing while I painted the new ceiling in his workroom/toolroom ( what ever we will call it ). As soon as it is done he can move garage stuff into it. The big cabinet/counter top on wheels that he built for our downstairs laundry room ( we have a laundry room upstairs too so the downstairs laundry room just became an extension of the garage) will be moved into this room.
If you ever have wondered what Reg & Val are up to, here are some of our pictures for U 2 check out :)

Now - can you see what we see ?
Reg spent 2 hours moving this wall ( middle with old fashioned flower printed wallpaper ) so when the Oven and Refrigerator are on this wall there will still be a good space to open the pantry door (on the left just out of sight) and still plenty of room to go to the right towards the dining area. Utilizing this wall for the Oven AND the Refrigerator will give us more working counterspace than we have here, in the Enrose Street house.
Can you see what we see????
New TV viewing spot...The big wall in dark corner of the living room is where Reg will put his Home theater equipment. I spent a whole day pulling out all the staples and bent over nails from the floor. Back killing job. The 2 times I sat on the floor to work I got staples in my rear end. Yes - it was funny - but still not pleasant! On Saturday Avery and Audrey came over to help us pull more staples and pound down nails. They loved it!

Guys working hard
This past week-end Reg worked two 10 hour days. On Saturday Reggie and Tyler came and helped for a couple of hours and on both Saturday and Sunday Rob came and helped all day. This was the big "Tear Down Week-end". They wound up filling 4 of those disposal bags from Home depot (Reg made a call and they get picked up - very good for large disposal in small places like our manufactured home park). Here is a picture of the "After" kitchen, see the hall way to the back on the right) and a picture of the "after" bathroom. Reg will have to get additional help to get the shower and the garden tub out of the back bedroom. (which are each in one big piece).

New House news
Today I met Rory, from Cactus Apprasals at the house. He is the most interesting person. He has his own film production company and makes movie shorts/festival length films, writes movie scripts and has worked as an extra and had speaking parts in several movies. He also knew everything about our house because he used to work at Cavco building manufactured homes. I learned so much about our house from Rory. Reg had wanted to know what the insulation was in the walls. It's 11 in the walls and 14 in the ceiling/roof. Cavco builds their homes so the floor joists go from front to back, lengthwise, there are 3 in each half of a home. For the bathroom suite/master shower Reg will need to put in some extra supports in the space under the house. I learned so much today. Here's a picture 1. of Rory looking at out electical box that is in the newly finished "Man Cave" that Reg has completed and 2. a picture of the opposite wall. He did such a great job. And the last picture is of my car in the west side driveway - where the Kitchen entry into the house is.

Citrus City
Our manufactured home has a full grown Grapefuit tree and a full grown Orange Tree (Reg thinks it's a Valencia but we haven't tried it yet). The previous owner was gone for several months and the watering system was turned off so the fruit this year is pretty dry - but next year it will be perfect. In "Sunrise" there is a bench at one of the entraces to the recreational center where evrybody brings baskets, boxes and/or bags of fresh picked citrus to trade/exchange. Everyone has at least one citrus tree. It is a very friendly place to live.

Here are some pictures of the new place we will be moved into by the end of Feb. Reg has lots of ideas and work has already started. Reg has slmost completed redoing the west side 10x11 tool/work room. He has completely reframed it and insulated it so he can use it in the summer. The master bathroom is very generous in size. Reg wants to totally reframe the room and make it a "suite" bathroom. The toilet will be in it's own little room (as we have here). The 1980's "everybody must have" garden tub, the small linen closet and the shower will be reworked. Reg wants to put in a big snail shower with multiple heads in what is now the tub area and linen closet area, and then covert the shower into a really generous linen closet.
The bathroom has a nice double sink and a large mirror that is really a huge medicine cabinet. the counter is low - even for me - but Reg is going to raise it up.
